Eucast Joins Colorado Smart Cities Alliance
Eucast Becomes Partner in Advancing Smart Cities and Communities
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
[Denver, CO | April 25, 2022] – Eucast Global, Inc. today announced that it has joined the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance. The first of its kind, the Alliance is a statewide coalition of Colorado municipalities, federally funded research labs, educational institutions and leading private sector technology companies working to identify new solutions to challenges facing the state. Connectivity has been identified as one of the Alliance’s top challenges that cities are interested in engaging with the private sector to solve, and Eucast products make positive differences, especially in areas that struggle with broadband access and associated digital divide issues.
As a technology leader and partner in the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance, Eucast will advise, consult and co-develop solutions to help Colorado municipalities fuel innovation, solve local challenges and improve smart city development. They will do so through the use of its state-of-the-art wireless broadband equipment and solutions to serve rural and remote communities and businesses. Eucast’s membership in the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance is another example of the company’s work to advance smart-city initiatives.
“There are significant areas where our technology can contribute and make a positive impact on underserved communities in Colorado and throughout the United States,” explained Jaehyeong Kim, CEO of EUCAST. “From first responders working in emergencies, to students dealing with remote learning, or businesses working to reach customers, our 4G LTE and 5G systems provide valuable benefits.”
“Instead of expensive and time-consuming construction of cellular towers and more fiber optic cabling, EUCAST provides solutions that allow quick communication system recovery in emergency or disaster situations,” Kim continued. “Our less expensive price points and greater flexibility in design customization means less maintenance/support service fees as we support businesses, municipalities, and close the digital divide.”
“The challenges facing cities today are so complex that no one city, company or research institution can solve them on their own,” said Tyler Svitak, executive director of the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance. “This complexity requires the type of cross-jurisdictional and public or private collaboration that we facilitate through the Alliance. The global reach of technology partners like Eucast allows us to bring the leading technology solutions in the world to bear on these complex challenges. We are honored to have them in our corner as we work to fundamentally improve quality of life for Colorado residents.”
EUCAST also recently announced a partnership with the University of Denver.
