Formed in late 2017 as an initiative of the Denver South Economic Development Partnership and established as a standalone 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2018, the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance (CSCA or the Alliance) is the first state-wide coalition of government, business, and strategic allied organizations dedicated to advancing smarter communities in the United States. The organization’s mission is to create technology partnerships that develop and prove next-generation solutions to the challenges shared across Colorado communities.

CSCA is based in Denver and has over 75 smart city initiatives throughout the state of Colorado. The organization is also a founding member of the National Smart Coalitions Partnership, a multi-state organization that aims to bridge gaps between local and regional technology efforts.
