MetroLab Network Civic Innovation Challenge

To further explore the areas where smart city collaboration and partnerships between cities and universities can happen, the MetroLab Network announced its Civic Innovation Challenge. The initiative is an invitation for stakeholders to use science, data and technology to explore complex community challenges, while enhancing job growth and economic competitiveness, as well as addressing equity issues across communities. MetroLab — a national network of more than 40 city-university partnerships focused on urban innovation — recently announced it will host its MetroLab Network 2019 Annual Summit in Boulder, Sept. 19-20, 2019, and co-hosted between the City of Boulder and CU Boulder’s Community Engagement, Design and Research Center (CEDaR).
